In the 2012 presidential election, the canton residents cast in the 1st round Marin Le Pen 32.0% of the vote against 24.4% in Nicolas Sarkozy and 21.3% in Francois Hollande , in the 2nd round in the canton Sarkozy won 55.4% (2007 1st round: Sarkozy - 32.1%, Segolen Royal - 19.5%; 2nd round: Sarkozy - 60.4%). In the elections to the National Assembly in 2012 in the 4th constituency of the Oise Department, in the 1st round, they cast the majority of votes - 30.9% - to the candidate of the National Front Milena Troshchinsky, and in the 2nd round - to the current deputy, candidate of the party Union for the Popular Movement Eric Woerth - 51.7% of the vote.
