The Almaty Tour 2013 ( Tour of Almaty 2013 ; the Atmata Tours 2013 ) is the first cycling day under the auspices of the International Union of Cyclists (UCI), which was held in the Kazakh city of Almaty on October 6, 2013 .
A memorandum on a one-day road race Tour Almaty was signed between the Akimat of Almaty, the UCI and the Kazakhstan Cycling Federation in February 2013.
“Almaty Tour” is held according to category 1.2, this is how a one-day group race of the second category is classified according to UCI rules.
The distance of one circle is 31 kilometers. In total, the race participants went 5 laps with a total length of 186 kilometers, instead of the planned 6. This decision was made by the organizers of the cycling race.
Members
20 teams fought for the victory in Tour: three professional continental teams, 12 continental teams, three national, one regional team and one club. In total, the teams from 16 countries of the world became the first participants of the Tour of Almaty 2013. Three teams came from the host country of Kazakhstan : the national team, the Astana continental team and the Vino 4-ever club. They were opposed by such well-known teams as Itera-Katusha Team , Synergy Baku Cycling Project , teams from Italy , Austria , Ukraine , Latvia , Iran , Ireland , Brunei , the Netherlands , France , Poland , Uzbekistan , the USA and Moldova .

Winners
Kazakhstani athlete Maxim Iglinsky became the winner of the race, Italian Sonny Colbrelli took second place, another Kazakhstani Ruslan Tleubaev went up to the third step of the podium.
The best race sprinter was last year’s world champion among underders under 23 Alexei Lutsenko .
