Like at the last stage of the championship - Singapore Grand Prix - Vettel again managed not only to make a hat-trick : to win the qualification [3] , the race [4] , and to show the best lap time [4] during the race - the 7th time in career, but also to conquer the so-called Grand Slam : in addition to winning qualifications, racing, establishing the best lap on the track, and to prolide the entire race distance, which was done by Vettel [4] - for the fourth time in his career. The second, with a delay of 4.2 seconds from the time of the winner [4] , Kimi Raikkonen ( Lotus ) came to the finish line, the third was another pilot of the Lotus team Romen Grosjean . He lost to the winner 4.9 seconds [4] .
On the 37th lap of the race there was a fire of the car Mark Webber (Red Bull) [4] . The reason was the collision of the Mark car with the lost control of the car Adrian Sutil ( Force India ) [4] . The pilots were not injured.
The previous Korean Grand Prix Formula 1 was held from October 12 to October 14, 2012 on the same track.

Before the Grand Prix
Track configuration changes
After the previous Korean Grand Prix, some changes were made on the Yonama track [1] . So, the organizers made a new exit from the pit lane [1] , previously located in the zone of the outer side of the beginning of the first turn, which created a certain risk of collision of pilots leaving the pit lane with pilots who are directly in the race. To eliminate this danger, the organizers moved the exit from the pit lane to the sector of the route, located immediately after the second turn [1] . A similar decision to leave the pit lane was considered by the organizers before the construction of the route, but, for unknown reasons, was later changed.
In addition to the restructuring of the exit from the pit lane, several other changes were made on the highway in Yonama: artificial grass in the exit zones from turns 1, 3, 10, 13 and 15 was replaced by more wear-resistant [1] , the edge of the eighth turn apex was reinforced concrete [1] , in the apexes of turns 4, 5, 9, 11, 13, and 14, new holes were installed (reinforced road elements with which the outer and inner shoulders are laid out in the areas of the turns of the route), designed to place pilots to cut turns [1] .

- Notes
- - Mark Webber was punished by Singapore Grand Prix stewards for losing ten starting positions in this race for receiving the third personal warning this season, which was imposed on him by the stewards after the previous race. The reason was the return of Mark Webber to the boxes, riding a car Fernando Alonso , after, shortly before the finish of the race, the car stalled and passing Fernando agreed to give Mark a lift to the boxes [6] .
- - By the decision of the Korean Grand Prix stewards, Jules Bianchi was punished by the loss of three starting positions in the race and a personal warning - for interfering with Paul di Resta on a fast lap in qualification [7] .
