Geography
Guschin Kolodez village is located in the central part of Dolgorukovsky district , 8 km west of Dolgorukovo village. Located on the left bank of a small brook of the Olshanets tributary.
History
Guschin Kolodez was first mentioned in the Economic Notes of the Yelets Uezd in 1778 . The name is taken from the eponymous stream. Here is a well - stream. The initial part of the name is by the name Gushchin [2] .
In the "List of populated places" of the Oryol province in 1866, it is marked as "the owner's village Guschin Kolodez (Guschinka) at the Gushchinka creek, 40 yards, 357 inhabitants".
At the beginning of the 20th century, the inhabitants of Gushintin belonged to the parish of the Assumption Church in the village of Dubovets .
In the census of 1926 it is listed as a village, it has 138 yards, 657 inhabitants. In 1932 there were 918 inhabitants [3] .
During the Great Patriotic War, the village Guschin Well was temporarily occupied by the Nazis. On December 3, 1941, units of the Wehrmacht 134th Infantry Division captured a number of settlements north of Terbunov : Dubovets , Gushchin Kolodez, Rich Rafts , rejecting the forces of the 6th Division of the Red Army to the Dolgorukovo district center. On December 10, 1941, during the Yelets offensive operation, Guschin Well was released.
In 1928, the Guschin Well entered the Dolgorukovsky district of the Yelets district of the Central Black Earth region . After the separation of the Central Military District in 1934, Dolgorukovsky district became part of Voronezh , in 1935 - Kursk , and in 1939 - Oryol region . From January 6, 1954 as part of the Dolgorukovsky district of the Lipetsk region .

Transportation
Gushchin Kolodez is located on the highway connecting the village of Dubovets with the district center Dolgorukovo . Dirt roads are connected with the village of Olshanka and the Bakeyevsky farm.
