Attila is an American rock band from Atlanta. The group is known for its unusual sound and fast vocals with recitative. The participants themselves call their Party Death Metal style. Currently, the group has recorded eight studio albums. [1] [2]

History
Formation, Early Releases, and Rage (2005–2011)
Chris "Fronz" Fronzac, Sean Hinan, Sam Halcomb, Matt Booth and Chris Wilson formed Attila in their hometown of Atlanta in 2005, meeting each other at their high school and through mutual friends. Frontman Chris called the group with reference to Attila Hun , whom he encountered in the book. Shortly after the formation, the group became the fourth at Artery Foundation / Razor & Tie, Artery Recordings.
In 2007, Attila independently released the Fallacy demo album (and not with Statik Factory, contrary to popular belief), and then in 2008 released Soundtrack to a Party with Statik Factory before signing a contract with Artery Recordings . In her early years, Attila toured with Arsonists Get All The Girls, You Next Tuesday , Chelsea Grin , American Me and We are the End . Attila toured with HED PE and Threat Signal from March 3 to April 10.
Attila signed with Artery Recordings in 2010 and released their debut album with Rage on May 11, 2010. The band recorded, produced, mixed and mastered Rage with Stefan Hawks of Interlace Audio in Portland , Oregon . On October 8, 2010, Attila released a music video for the Rage album of the same name. On May 13, 2010, the band was announced to support the Drop Dead, Gorgeous , "The Pyknic pArtery Tour" headline tour, along with From First to Las t, Sleeping With Sirens , Abandon All Ships , Woe is Me , For All Those Sleeping , and Scarlett O'Hara, starting July 17 in Texas and ending in Los Angeles on August 20.
On August 19, 2010, the band was announced to support the North American “Stick to Your Guns” tour with other fellow bands As Blood Runs Black , For the Fallen Dreams and Close Your Eyes from October 1 in Arizona to the 31st in California
On September 28, 2010, the band was announced to support the Oceano's Contagion Across the Nation Tour with other bands, Chelsea Grin , In the Midst of Lions and Monsters , which began on November 5th in Michigan and ended on the 27th in Illinois .
On May 6, 2011, the band was announced as part of the "All Stars Tour 2011" along with Emmure , Alesana , Iwrestledabearonce , blessthefall , For Today , In This Moment , Born of Osiris , The Ghost Inside , After the Burial , For All Those Sleeping , Memphis May Fire , Motionless in White , Chelsea Grin and Sleeping With Sirens
Outlawed (2011–2012)
On July 14, 2011, the band announced that their next album, Outlawed, would be released on August 16 via Artery Recordings and Razor & Tie. On July 25, 2011, the band unveiled the Outlawed track listing and released their first single from the Payback album for streaming. On August 4, the band released their second single, "Smokeout", followed by a music video for "Smokeout" on August 17.
On August 8, 2011, the band was announced as part of Alesana and Dance Gavin Dance's “Rock Yourself to Sleep” band under the headliner with other bands supporting A Skylit Drive , I Set My Friends on Fire and A Loss for Words . On August 31, 2011, the group was announced as support for the Monster Energy Outbreak Tour 2012, entitled Asking Alexandria , and included support groups such as I Lay Dying , Suicide Silence and Memphis May Fire .
On September 18, 2011, the group was announced as support for the We Came As Romans ' Take a Picture, It Will Last Longer "tour, which began on November 22 and ended on December 9, while other artists will perform with Falling in Reverse , Sleeping With Sirens . and for all i am
On October 17, 2011, Attila released their first music video from the Payback album. Attila released a lyric video for her song “Another Round” on July 9, 2012, and another lyric video for her song “Nasty Mouth” on October 2, 2012. On October 30, 2012, Attila released the new single "Party with the Devil" and a re-recorded version of "Soda in the Water Cup" from Soundtrack to a Party
On December 12, 2011, the group was announced as part of the group at New Metal Metal and Hardcore fest 2012, which took place on April 20–22 at the Palladium in Worcester , Massachusetts . [December 22, 2011, the band was announced as part of the six-week Chelsea Grin Sick Tour with other bands, For The Fallen Dreams , Chunk! No, Captain Chunk ! !, Vanna , Volumes and The Crimson Armada .
On March 24, 2012, vocalist Fronzaku was denied entry to Canada for the second time due to a serious crime on his record. Fronzak issued a statement of the incident, saying he could file for review in two years.
On June 6, 2012, the band announced that bassist Chris Comrie had left the band. The group issued a statement describing the departure as a personal choice made by Comrie, and that they were still on good terms. On September 8, 2012, the band announced that they had accepted For the Fallen Dreams' former guitarist Kalan Blam as their new bass player.
On September 13, 2012, the band announced its "Party With the Devil" headlining tour, featuring Make Me Famous , Issues, Ice Nine Kills and Adestria , from October 26 in Florida to November 15 in Washington
About That Life and other projects (2013-2014)
January 4, 2013 Attila was announced to participate in the Warped Tour 2013 from June 16 to July 11, 2013.
On February 3, 2013, it was announced that the group had finished writing a sequel to Outlawed and began working as a studio. The group stated that this album will be the “hardest” and “craziest” album they have ever made. On February 25, 2013, the band uploaded their own video, Harlem Shake.
On April 20, 2013, Attila released the first single from Middle Fingers Up and announced that a new album, entitled About That Life , would be released on June 25, 2013. On May 24, 2013, Attila teamed up with Spotify and Revolver to release the title track from About That Life.
On August 1, 2013, the band announced a “That That Life” headlining tour featuring support for Upon a Burning Body , The Plot in You, and Fit for a King . On December 11, 2013, it was announced that frontman Chris Fronzac would go to the studio next month to begin recording his upcoming hip hop album. Later that night at Warped Roadies Fuse, it was announced that Attila would play on the 2014 Warped Tour with other bands such as Tear Out the Heart , Mayday Parade , Protomen and Plague Vendor .
On December 13, 2013, the band announced The New King's Tour with other bands: I See Stars , Capture the Crown , Ice Nine Kills , Myka , Relocate and ARTISANS , starting January 31, 2014. On December 18, 2013, the group was announced in support of the Self Help Festival A Day to Remember on March 22, 2014 in San Bernardino , California .
On July 22, 2014, the band introduced Machine Gun Kelly to APMA, where he performed the song “See My Tears” with the Cleveland Youth Orchestra.
On August 18, 2014, it was announced that the band will headline the Monster Outbreak Tour 2014, with Crown the Empire , Like Moths to Flames and Sworn In. The tour was supposed to begin on November 14 at Fort Lauderdale and end on December 14 in Massachusetts . On September 5, they were announced as support for the Black Veil Brides UK tour with fellow support member Fearless Vampire Killers , which begins October 3 in Cardiff, UK, and ends October 17 in Leeds , UK.
Guilty Pleasure and the departure of Nate Salame (2014–2016)
On October 6, 2014, the band unveiled their new album, Guilty Pleasure , which was due to be released on November 24. Fronzak called the album the hardest of them written. On October 20, 2014, the band released their first single [3] from Proving Grounds.
On October 22, Alternative Press announced that guitarist Nate Salame had left the band. When asked about the decision, Salame said he wanted to focus on a life without drugs and alcohol.
On November 8, 2014, the band released their second single, Horsepig, in which Fronzak stated that it was “one of my favorite songs I have ever written.” The band played a 26-day tour in support of The Guilty Pleasure Tour, which kicked off in Lauderdale , Florida on November 11th and ended on December 14th in Boston , Massachusetts .
Attila played the entire Vans Warped Tour 2015 on the main stage.
Burying the well-known feud with Falling in Reverse , frontman Ronnie Radke , Fronzak, and other Attila members announced a joint tour with the Falling in Reverse called Supervillains Tour with support from the Metro Station and Assuming We Survive . The tour was played at the end of 2015.
Attila has been touring Hollywood Undead since March 2016
Signing a contract with SharpTone Records and Chaos , Villain (2016 – present)
On June 24, 2016, Attila announced the signing of a contract with SharpTone Records , a new label co-founded by Nuclear Blast CEO Marcus Steiger and Sean Keith. “We are REALLY pleased to announce that we have officially signed a contract with SharpTone!” Shared the frontman Attila Fronzak. “We are at an amazing stage in our career, and we know that these guys have the strength we need to take things to the next level.”
Chaos was released on November 4, 2016.
On January 1, 2017, Sean Hinan announced that he was leaving the band. The group later issued its own statement regarding his departure, citing the fact that the reasons revolved around the feeling that it was time to “make changes to improve our rhythm section”.
On March 22, 2017, it became known that Attila will participate in the 2017 Vans Warped Tour. On October 31, 2017, Attila released their single “Three 6” on Youtube .
On February 13, 2018, Attila announced that they were no longer signed with SharpTone Records.
On July 7, 2018, the new web single “Pizza [4] ” was released. The music video [5] for the single was uploaded to the band’s channel on YouTube on July 12th.
On February 22, 2019, Attila released an album called Villain. On the same day, released a video for the song Villain [6]
February 25 released a clip for the song Toxic [7]
February 26 released a video for the song Bad Habits [8]
The band announced a joint tour with All That Remains , Escape The Fate , Sleep Signals , which will begin on February 28 in Reading , PA and end on April 6 in Destin , Florida .
In April, the group announced their first tour in South Africa . Which will be held June 14 in Johannesburg , June 15 in Cape Town and June 16 in Pretoria
In May, the group announced the Villain UK / EU Tour 2019 with support in the form of Veil of Maya and Sylar , which will begin on November 16 in Birmingham , UK and end on December 16 in Lisbon , Portugal .
In June, the band announced their participation in the Rage Fest along with Crown The Empire , Veil of Maya , Gideon , Hawk and Life Right Now . The Rage Fest 2019 will begin July 26 in Sacramento , California and end on August 25 in San Diego , California . The group also announced a tour of Ukraine and Russia , which will begin on November 7 in Kiev and end on November 14 in Moscow .
