Biography

She was born on January 24 ( February 6 ), 1909 (according to other sources - in 1905 [1] ) in Yuriev (now Tartu , Estonia ).

In 1927 she graduated from the Gymnasium for Girls (now named after M. Härma) of the Estonian Youth Education Society in Tartu.

In 1929 , she began her career as a chorus girl in the Vanemuine Theater in Tartu , and later as an actress of this theater.

In 1935 - 1944 - actress of the Tallinn Drama Studio (from 1937 - the Estonian Drama Theater , from 1952-1989 - the Estonian State Drama Theater named after V. Kingisepp), in 1944 - 1949 - the Estonia Theater (now the National Opera Estonia ” ) (Tallinn).

From 1949 (after merging with the drama troupe of the theater "Estonia") and until 1984 - actress of the Estonian Drama Theater in Tallinn [2]

Acted in films.

She died on March 12, 1992 in Tallinn. She was buried in the Forest Cemetery .
