Scando-Slavica (the common abbreviation is ScSl , the original name is “Scando-Slavica” ) is one of the leading Slavic magazines [1] , founded by Scandinavian Slavists.

History
The journal is a peer-reviewed international publication on Slavic and Baltic linguistics , culture , literature , history and other related areas [2] . It was founded in 1954 and was published once a year, only since 2010 it began to be published on one volume in two issues. For 2019, 65 volumes were published. Scando-Slavika is indexed by the Scopus database.
V. Kiparsky , R. Ekblom, G. Jacobsson, G. Birnbaum published their articles in the journal , A. Stender-Petersen , A. N. Kirpichnikov , A. V. Nazarenko , T. N. Jackson , F. B. Uspensky , A. A. Medyntseva, and other researchers.
The journal analyzed the works of Konstantin Preslavsky , Ya. A. Komensky , M. V. Lomonosov , A. S. Pushkin , M. Yu. Lermontov , N. V. Gogol , F. M. Dostoyevsky , I. S. Turgenev , N. S. Leskov , A. P. Chekhov , V. S. Soloviev , V. V. Mayakovsky , O. E. Mandelstam , M. I. Tsvetaeva , B. L. Pasternak , J. Hasek , M. A. Sholokhov , considered “ The Word of Igor's Regiment ,” “ Devgeniyo Deed, ” a collection of bylinas by Kirsha Danilov , “ Domostroy ”, “ Stoglav ” and other works. Questions were raised in the common Slavic , Scandinavian , Baltic languages, as well as separately in Czech , Russian , Polish , Bulgarian , Latvian , Lithuanian , Greek , German , Finnish and other languages. The history of the Slavic tribes and countries was investigated, including the relations between the Slavs and the Balts , Rus and Scandinavians , and there is also material on the “ Varangian issue ”.
