Peschansky volost is a historical administrative-territorial unit of the Starobelsky district of the Kharkov province with a center in the settlement of Peski .

The main settlements of the volost as of 1885 :
- Sands - the former state settlement near the Aydar River, 60 miles from the county town, 2,232 people, 312 households, an Orthodox church, a school, a shop, 2 fairs a year.
- Bulavinovka - the former state settlement near the Aidar River, 1630 people, 269 farmsteads, an Orthodox church, a school, 2 fairs a year.
- Passenger - a former state farm, 1187 people, 165 domestic farms.
- Rybyantsev - a former state farm by the Aidar River, 1190 people, 162 farm households.
- Tishkov - a former state farm, 670 people, 108 domestic farms.
The largest settlements of the volost as of 1914 [3] :
- Sands settlement - 3854 inhabitants;
- Zakotnoye settlement - 5099 inhabitants;
- Bulavinovka settlement - 2046 inhabitants;
- Tishkovka settlement - 1110 inhabitants;
- Rybyantsev Farm - 1790 inhabitants.
The foreman of the volost was Vasily Andreevich Rybyantsev, the volost clerk β Iona Ivanovich Yarova, and the chairman of the volost court β Anton Kuzmich Polubatko.
