Marinda has dialects of gavir, tugeri, halifoersh and southeastern marinda. There are significant differences between inland and coastal dialects, but the carriers understand each other. In the northwestern dialect ( Bian, Bian Marind, Boven-Mbian, Northwest Marind ) they speak in the area of the Upper Bian River, in the village of Sanayu, a suburb of Muting, Regency Merauke of the province of Papua .
