Origin
Bred at the Bashkir Scientific Research Institute of Agriculture [1] in 1990 from crossing varieties of Paul and Bergamot by summer breeders R. I. Bolotina, G. A. Mansurov, Kh. N. Fazliakhmetov. Zoned in the Ural region.
Distribution
The variety is zoned in the republics of Bashkortostan , Tatarstan , Udmurtia , Chelyabinsk , Vologda , Kirov regions .
Variety characteristics
A tree of medium growth with a round-pyramidal, compressed form of medium density. The branches extend at an angle close to 90 degrees. The bark on the trunk and main branches is flaky, gray. Self-infertile variety, the best varieties of pollinators are pears of varieties Bashkir summer , Severyanka . It bears fruiting for 6 years. Crops are high and regular (120-230 kg / ha).
Shoots are brown, straight, long, thick, without pubescence. The flowers are medium, white, fragrant, deeply cup-shaped.
Fruits are below average size, weighing 80-92 g, elongated pear-shaped, one-dimensional. The color of the fruit is dark red with a blush at least part of the fruit. Peduncle of medium length, straight, oblique.
The pulp of the fruits is white, medium density, tender, fine-grained, with spices, sweetish-sour taste with aroma.
The chemical composition of the fruits: dry substances - 20.1%, sugars - 7.2%, titratable acids - 0.52%, ascorbic acid - 7.1 mg / 100 g. Ripening occurs in late August - 1 decade of September, fruits can stored for 40 days.
The advantages of the variety include high winter resistance, drought resistance, and scab resistance.
