Biography
The son of the conductor . Educated at the Leningrad Road Institute in 1934. He worked in factories as an electric welder, engineer. In September 1929 joined the CPSU (b). Since May 1937 in the People’s Commissariat of State farms of the USSR. Then he was sent to work in the NKVD of the USSR. Since December 26, 1938 an investigator in the investigative unit of the NKVD of the USSR. Since September 4, 1939, the head of the secretariat of the Special Meeting at the People's Commissar of Internal Affairs. December 25, 1946 transferred to work at the Ministry of State Security of the USSR, where he took a similar position. From July 1948 he was authorized by the Council of Ministers of the USSR, and from April 1952 he was deputy head of the 2nd Main Directorate under the Council of Ministers of the USSR. All these years he was engaged in ensuring the safety of research on nuclear weapons, primarily on raw materials - uranium . [1] After the death of JV Stalin and the creation of the joint Ministry of Internal Affairs, he again became secretary of the Special Meeting from April 6, 1953.
On July 27, 1953 he was relieved of his post, and on December 16, 1953 he was dismissed from the USSR Ministry of Internal Affairs. From November 1953 to January 1954 he worked as the head of the special department of the Main Directorate of Soviet Property Abroad. January 3, 1955 as "having discredited himself while working in the organs," he was stripped of the rank of major general and retired.
