Geography
It is located in the east of the Galich region, not far from the main passage of the Trans-Siberian Railway . Near the village is the railway station Krasilnikovo . [2]
History
The village was formed in the postwar period near the village of the same name . [2]
Before the municipal reform of 2010, the village was the administrative center of the Krasilnikovsky rural settlement. [3] [4]

Infrastructure
The main enterprise of the village is the timber processing enterprise LLC Krasilnikovsky Forest Center. [2]
In Krasilnikov, a kindergarten, a basic comprehensive school, and a feldsher-midwife station function. There are several outlets. [2]
