The lake is stretched in the direction from southwest to northeast. Significant bays are Lanzeguba, Nikonova Bay and Mill Bay.
The banks are flat, sandy and rocky, at the northern end of the lake are swampy, covered with deciduous forest.
The main tributaries are a short channel from Svyatozer , as well as from Lake Lizhmen through a small river. In addition, streams flowing into the lake flowing from nearby swamps.
Stoke - Svyatreka - is located at the northern end of the lake.
The bottom is covered with silt. Higher aquatic vegetation is significantly developed and is represented mainly by reeds.
The lake is inhabited by perch, shuka, roach, bream, vendace, ruff and burbot.
