History
Ribekur-Drelenkur was formed by the merger of two communes - Ribekur and Drelenkur - which received the status of associated communes in 1972, and since 2009 they became a single territorial entity. Settlements on the site of both communes have existed since Roman times. The larger Ribercourt for many years belonged to the Abbey of Saint-Elua in Noyon, Drelencourt repeatedly changed its owners. Both communes suffered severely during World War I.
