The village is located on the banks of the river Tebza . [one]
History
According to the Lists of the populated areas of the Russian Empire in 1872, the village belonged to the 1st camp of the Galich district of the Kostroma province . It had 37 yards , 96 men and 117 women. [one]
According to the 1897 census , 290 people lived in the village (121 men and 169 women). [2]
According to the List of populated areas of the Kostroma province in 1907, the village belonged to the Kostomsky volost of the Galich district of the Kostroma province. According to the volost government, in 1907 there were 64 peasant households and 331 inhabitants. There was a windmill in the village. The main occupations of the villagers were painting, carpentry and leather crafts. [2]
Before the municipal reform of 2010, the village was part of the Kabanovsky rural settlement. [3] [4]
