The main settlements of the volost as of 1885 :
- Voevodsk - the former owner's settlement 98 miles from the county town, 587 people, 75 courtyards, the Orthodox Church.
- Novo-Aleksandrovka (“Levenets”) - a former state farm, 226 people, 34 domestic farms, the Orthodox Church.
The largest settlements of the volost as of 1914 [3] :
- settlement Voevodіvka - 3792 inhabitants.
The foreman of the volost was Nikita Yakovlevich Kalyuzhny, the volost clerk - Efim Alexandrovich Suslov, and the chairman of the volost court - Ivan Semenovich Samoilenko.
