Biography

1996–2008: Early Life

Ella Yelic-O'Connor, performer of Croatian - of Irish descent [3] , was born on November 7, 1996 in the Takapuna region the city of Auckland (New Zealand) [4] , in the family of the engineer Vick O'Connor [5] and the poetess Sonya Yelich ( Croatian Sonja Jelić ) [6] . In May 2009, the Lord and her friend Louis MacDonald, as a duet, won the annual talent competition of the Belmont school [13] . On August 13 of the same year, Ella and MacDonald were invited to the program of Jim Mora "Afternoon" on Radio Radio New Zealand [14] .
