About the album

All compositions were rehearsed in the fall of 1980 and recorded in the first two weeks of December, except for two compositions recorded earlier:

... Alexander Pantykin - vocals, piano, and Ivan Savitsky - drums took part in the recording of The Honest Guy and Songs of Love. These two compositions were recorded in the summer of 1980, when the Sonance group, of which we were all members, began to disintegrate, “Urfin Djus” and “Track” were latently formed in its place ... Both songs were supplemented by Track I, recorded later in December 1980.

- M. Perov . From the annotation to the collection “Track. The best songs of 1980 - 1983 " [2]

The songs “Harmless Dream”, “Biography” and “Rational Pleasure”, among other author’s compositions, were later included in the planned conceptual program “Some Issues Exciting Us” (1983 - 1984), which was to be performed jointly by the musicians of the “Track” and the group "Oorfene Deuce . "

For the album, the song “Always ready to collapse” was also being prepared, but it never entered the final edition for the reason that it did not fit the general concept of the album.
