Persecution of Christians
The great persecution of Christians (303-313), which began under the emperor Diocletian and continued by his heirs, was the last and most severe persecution of Christians in the Roman Empire . Unprecedented cruel persecution of Christians, marking the rule of Diocletian, did not stop the spread of Christianity.
The spread of Christianity
