The tenth season of the American drama television series Shonda Rhys , Anatomy of Passion , was launched on ABC on September 26, 2013 and consists of 24 episodes.

Production
May 10, 2013 ABC extended the series for the tenth season [1] . It was later announced that the season will be divided into two parts, the first twelve episodes will be shown until the new year, after which the series will take a break until February 26, 2014. “Anatomy of Passion”, along with four other soap dramas of the channel (“ Nashville ”, “ Scandal ”, “ Revenge ” and “ Once in a Fairy Tale ”), goes on to a new broadcasting format in the 2013-14 television season , broadcast almost without interruption [2] .
In May 2012, the six main actors of the original line-up ( Ellen Pompeo , Patrick Dempsey , Sandra Oh , Chandra Wilson , Justin Chambers, and James Pickens Jr. ) renewed their contracts for two seasons [3] . In June 2013, it was announced that four new casting actors in the ninth season ( Camilla Laddington , Guy Charles , Jerryk Hinton and Tessa Ferrer ) were promoted to a regular composition in the tenth season [4] [5] . On August 13, 2013 Sandra Oh announced her retirement from the series after the finale of the tenth season [6] [7] [8] .
