Laxo is a village in the eastern part of the island of Mainland in the Shetland Islands archipelago .
Geography
It is located off the northwestern shore of Lax Bay, cut into the east coast of the Isle of Manland and bounded on the east by the island of Walsey .

Ferry to the village of Symbister on Walsy Island [1] .
Roads “B9071” ( Vidlin –Laxo –– “ A970 ” –Bikster ) pass through the village, leading west to the central part of the island, and “B9075” (Lakso – Brettabister –– “ A970 ”), south along the eastern coast of the island.
