Selim al-Hoss (سليم أحمد ال), genus. December 20, 1929 ) - a Lebanese politician, five times served as prime minister of Lebanon (1976–1980, 1987–1990, 1988–1989 (along with Michel Aoun), 1989–1990, 1998–2000).

Career
In 1984, he was appointed Minister of Education in the government of Rashid Karame and became Acting Prime Minister in 1987 after the assassination of R. Karame.
In 1988, at the end of Gemayel’s mandate, he refused to cede power to interim Prime Minister Michel Aoun, whom he considered unconstitutional.
He was appointed new prime minister in 1989 and resigned a year later.
He was appointed Prime Minister in 1998 by President Emile Lahoud . Resigned in 2000.
