History

For the first time in historical documents, the village was found in a revision of 1786, according to the Economic Notes of 1800, it had 12 yards, 56 men and 61 women. By 1852, there were 22 yards in the village, 79 male and 75 souls were female, in 1890 there were 207 people and the estate of Madame Babst, the administrative village belonged to the Perkhushkovsky volost . At the end of the 19th century, many villagers were engaged in tailoring, in particular the manufacture of military tents used in the Russian-Turkish war of 1877 . According to the All-Union Census of December 17, 1926, there were 73 households and 358 inhabitants, according to the 1989 census - 146 households and 298 residents [2] .

Until 2006, Shchedrino was part of the Likinsky rural district; in 2006—2019. Shchedrino was part of the rural settlement Zhavoronkovskoe [3] [4] .

Geography

Shchedrino is located 33 km west of the center of Moscow and 10 km west of the center of Odintsov . The village of Zhavoronki adjoins Shchedrin from the south-west, and the village of Likino from the south. To the north of Shchedrin is the Belarusian Railway , separated from the village by meadows. To the east of Shchedrin is a forest. The height of the center above sea level is 201 m [5] . A stream flows through Shchedrino, which is the left tributary of the Neznaika River in its upper reaches. Two large ponds are arranged on the stream.

Economics

There are no industrial enterprises in Shchedrin. There are small retailers.

Transport

Shchedrino is located 2 km north of the Minsk highway . Automobile communication with the village is through the village of Likino .

At 1.2 km from the border of Shchedrin, there is a passenger platform of the Lark of the Belarusian direction of the Moscow railway .

Architecture

Residential buildings of Shchedrin are represented by private houses and cottages .
