F (manga)

The plot unfolds around Gumma, who lives in the countryside with a single mother. He is the illegitimate son of a wealthy and influential businessman and politician, Soichiro Akagi, who however abandoned Gumma and his mother in order to avoid journalistic scandal. So the years pass, Gumma grows and dreams of becoming a racer, however, calm days for a guy end; his mother is dying and an influential businessman has to take custody of his son in any case. Father still seeks to intersect with Gumma as little as possible, besides, his older half brother Syoma begins to hate him openly. However, Gumma has completely different goals: he is determined to become a champion in Formula 1 and single-handedly decides to achieve his cherished goal. First, he passes on a driver’s license, and later joins the Kuroi racing team. Ahead of him are waiting for hard training and progress towards his cherished goal. His new friends and allies will help in this gum.

• Gumma Akagi ( 赤木 軍馬 Akagi Gumma ) is the main character of the story, a confident, proud and hot-tempered guy with a problematic character. He is the illegitimate son of a Japanese influential businessman. After the death of the mother, he is accepted into the father’s family, but does not find a common language with him.

Seiyu: Toshihiko Seki

• Tamotsu Oishi ( Jap. 大石 タ モ ツ O: Ishi Tamotsu ) is Gumma's best friend, at the same time his complete opposite; shy, modest, prudent, always avoids conflicts and seeks to help Gumma out of trouble. He is fond of engines and dreams of developing them for Formula 1 racing cars.

Seiyu: Sinnosuke Furimoto

• Soichiro Akagi ( Japanese 赤木 総 一郎 Akagi So: itiro:) is a negative character and father of Gumma, a large businessman who seeks to increase his role in politics. Avoids Gumma, as he is afraid that he will spoil the image of an impeccable entrepreneur with his antics and character. In his youth he participated in the Second World War . Authoritarian, arrogant, charismatic, Soichiro is at the center of the struggle of the world of politics, business and must face strong competitors and opponents. To fight them, Soichiro is ready to resort to the most cruel methods.

Seiyu: Hirotaka Suzuoka

• Yuki ( ユ キ Yuki ) is a maid working in Akagi’s home. Loyally refers to Gumma and later enters into intimate relations with him. However, she is interested in Syoma. Subsequently, she decides to become a couple for Shoma to secretly finance Gumma and help achieve his dream, and later Yuki becomes pregnant and announces that the father of the unborn child is a representative of another rich family, thus almost destroying the name of the Akagi family.

• Shoma Akagi ( 赤木 将 馬 Akagi Sh С : ma ) - Gumma's older brother, arrogant and authoritarian, hates Gumma, but envies his great will and determination.

• Yuma Akagi ( 赤木 雄 馬 Akagi Yu: ma ) is Gumma’s younger brother, the only one in the family who respects the guy. Engaged in racing and becomes one of the most serious rivals for Gumma on F3 , and then on F3000

Seiyu: Koji Tsujitani

• Kazuto Hijiri ( 聖 一 人 Hijiri Kazuto ) is the driver of the FJ1600, one of the most serious opponents of Gumma, but at the same time the first who was loyal to him. He is terminally ill and dies during the final round.

Seiyu: Hirotaka Suzuoka

• Kazuo Kuroi ( Japanese 黒 井 和 夫 Kuroi Kazuo ) is the coach of the Kuroi team. Former member of Formula 1. A very strict trainer who exposes Gumma to tough training. At first, his team was unknown, but after Gumma entered and the team began to receive funding from Yuki, things went well.

Seiyu: Ryusuke Obayashi

• Junko Komori ( Jap. 小森 純 子 Komori Junko ) - an instructor at a driving school, helped Gumma get a driver’s license. First, mutual sympathy develops between them, which develops into love. Prior to the main events as a result of an accident, she lost her lover - Ryūzu. Follows Gumma to England.

Seiyu: Sakiko Tamagawa

• Sayuri Komori ( Jap. 小森 さ ゆ り Komori Sayuri ) - Aunt Junko and widow. The owner of the boarding house in which he stayed for the time of Gumma. Met with a guy when trying to get a driver’s license. Often gives advice and words of wisdom.
