"Dad" ( Eng. Dads , also found a translation of "Fathers" ) is an American comedy television series. The pilot episode was aired on Fox on September 17, 2013. On May 7, 2014, Fox closed the show after one season. [1]

Story
Eli ( Seth Green ) and Warner ( Giovanni Ribisi ) are best friends since childhood and co-founders of Ghost Children Games (aka Ghost Child Games, GCG). Warner is married, has two children, and is often stressed out trying to balance his career and family life. Unlike Warner, Eli behaves more liberally, sometimes finds time for self-improvement. He is confident in himself, although sometimes he shows a complete lack of morality and good intentions. At some point, the friendship of companions is complicated by the appearance of their fathers. And if Warner's dad, Crawford is a model of eternal optimist and exorbitant money spending, then Eli's father, David, on the contrary, is a monument to the negative, always moody and disappointed.

- Eli Sachs ( Set Green ) is a bearded, lonely loner. He is a co-founder of a computer games company. Lives in the same building in which the company is located (with a difference of several floors). a little unassembled, which is not immediately noticeable. However, this does not prevent him from maintaining good relations with the team.
- David Sachs ( Peter Riegert ) - the father of Eli, in the past - a wealthy man who was forced to move to his son. Constantly dissatisfied with life, practically does nothing in his son’s house, but at the same time always finds an excuse for such cases. Periodically becomes a source of indignation at the housewife Eli, with whom he often argues.
- Warner Wittmore ( Giovani Ribisi ) - a decent family man, a friend of Eli, is also a co-founder of a computer games company. Somewhat pessimistic about life, the reason for this is family life. Essentially torn between work and family. In rare moments, he finds time for companionship with Eli.
- Crawford Wittmore ( Martin Mull ) - Warner's father, unlike David, he looks at life with a special twinkle. Eternally comes up with business ideas that do not bring any benefit. He moved to Warner, met his wife, found a common language with her. Likes to be at work with his son, introducing diversity there.
- Camila ( Vanessa Minillo ) - Warner's wife, a housewife. Get along with Crawford, who sometimes helps her. Sometimes she does not understand her husband, this misunderstanding sometimes develops into quarrels.
- Veronica ( Brenda Song ) - Director of Eli and Warner. An Asian woman constantly makes jokes about her nationality, but does not like to be laughed at. The only person who finds a solution to almost any problem when Eli and Warner give up.
- Edna ( Tonita Castro ) - Eli's housekeeper, loves him with all his heart. At the same time, he is quite biased towards David for his eternal unwillingness to do anything useful.
