Title
The Law of the Lipetsk Region dated November 11, 2015 No. 463-OZ Zhemchuzhnikovo was renamed Zhemchuzhnikova [2] .
Geography
The village of Zhemchuzhnikova is located on the southern outskirts of the Dolgorukovsky district , 17 km south of the village of Dolgorukovo . Located on the banks of a small dam.
History
Zhemchuzhnikova arose no later than the 1st half of the 19th century . For the first time mentioned in the “List of Populated Places” of the Oryol Province of 1866 as the owners ’settlements“ Zhemchuzhnikovo (Yakovlevka) ”16 households, 140 residents. The first name is from the surname of the owners of these lands - the landowners Zhemchuzhnikovs. The name "Yakovlevka" from the village of Yakovlevo , from which the peasants "were evicted" to new lands, to the place of the modern village of Zhemchuzhnikova [3] . The village is famous for the fact that its owners, the Zhemchuzhnikov brothers, were the creators of the image of Kozma Petrovich Prutkov. The manor house was converted into an ordinary rural house. Currently in very poor condition. There is a memorial plaque.
According to the 1926 census in the village of Zhemchuzhnikova, 34 yards, 142 residents. In 1932 - 192 residents. Since 2018, no one has been living in the village.
In 1928, the village became part of the Dolgorukovsky district of the Yelets district of the Central Black Earth region . After the separation of the Central Black Sea District in 1934, the Dolgorukovsky district became part of the Voronezh region , in 1935 - the Kursk region , in 1939 - the Oryol region , and from January 6, 1954, as part of the newly formed Lipetsk region .

Transport
The village of Zhemchuzhnikova is connected by dirt roads to the village of Bolshoy Kolodez , the village of Yurasovka, Terbunsky District .
