The 2013 American International Drafts Championship for Men was held from February 17 to March 3 in Port of Spain , Trinidad and Tobago in a round robin system. The tournament was attended by 20 athletes from 12 countries, including 2 international grandmasters, 1 international master and 3 FMJD masters. The victory was won by the international grandmaster Allan Silva from Brazil , the second place from the US representative Nicholas Derival, the third place was awarded to Angel Mehei from the Dominican Republic according to additional criteria. The first four checkers took part in the 2013 World Cup from America.
