As of 1886, it consisted of 10 settlements, 14 rural communities. The population is 1,937 people (946 males and 993 females), 305 household farms [1] .

Settlement parish:
- Krinichnoe (Bazhenovka) - a proprietary village by the Komishuvakha river, 25 miles from the county town, 250 people, 35 yards.
According to the data for 1908, the parish was merged with the Nikolaev volost called “Krinichansk-Nikolaev”. The population grew to 5,914 persons (3,062 males and 2,852 females), 889 courtyards [2] .
As of 1916 [3] : volost foreman - Zhuravlyov Mark Vasilyevich, volost clerk - Sotnikov Serapion Vasilyevich, chairman of the volost court - Zalivatsky Panfil Ivanovich, secretary of the volost court - Shestopalov Alexander Mikhailovich. Chairman of the consumer society - Saveliev Nikolai Petrovich.
