History

From 1917 to 1918, the village of Tsvylyovo was part of the Sugorovsky volost of the Tikhvin district of the Novgorod province.
Since 1918, as part of the Olkhov volost of the Cherepovets province .
Since 1924, as part of the Suburban Volost.
Since 1927, as part of the Dmitrov village council of the Tikhvin region.
In 1928, the population of the village of Tsvylyovo was 30 people.
In 1958, the population of the village of Tsvylyovo was 92 people.
Since 1964, as part of the Lipnogorsk Village Council [2] .
According to 1973, in the village of Tsvylyovo there was a central estate of the Kultura state farm, the village was the administrative center of the Ilyinsky Village Council [3] .
According to 1990, the village of Tsvylyovo was the administrative center of the Ilyinsky Village Council, which included 19 settlements, with a total population of 1,851 people. 1047 people lived in the village of Tsvylyovo [4] .
In 1997, 1,160 people lived in the village of Tsvylyovo, Ilyinsky volost, in 2002 - 979 (Russians - 95%), the village was the administrative center of the volost [5] [6] .
Since January 1, 2006, in accordance with the regional law No. 52-oz dated September 1, 2004 “On Establishing Borders and Allowing the appropriate Status of the Municipal Formation of the Tikhvin Municipal District and Municipal Units in Its Composition”, the village of Tsvylyovo has been the center of the Tsvylyovsky rural settlement [7] .
In 2007, the population of the village was 1107 people, in 2010 - 936, in 2012 - 1147 people [8] [9] [10] .
Geography
The village is located in the southwestern part of the district on the highway 41K-265 ( Ovino - Lipnaya Gorka ).
The distance to the district center is 22 km [4] .
The distance to the nearest railway station Tsvylyovo on the Volkhovstroy - Vologda line is 1.5 km [9] .
The village is located on the left bank of the Tikhvinka River, and the Medved Stream flows through the village.
