Career

Club

Muamadu Dabo is a graduate of the Senegalese football club Yeggo. In 2000, he ended up in the Saint-Etienne training system. He made his debut in the first team on May 7, 2005 in the League 1 match against the Toulouse club [1] . On September 18, 2008, the defender first played in the UEFA Cup match . He entered the game from the Tel Aviv “Hapoel” in the starting lineup, and in the second half was replaced by David Soger [2] . In the spring of 2010, the German club Cologne was interested in the Dabo crossing [3] . However, a month later, the defender was announced to move to the Spanish “ Seville ” [4] . In total, during his performance at Saint-Etienne, Muamadou Dabo played for the team in the League 1,116 matches and scored 1 goal (September 21, 2008 against Paris Saint-Germain ) [5] .

The defender first played for the new club on August 14, 2010 in the Spanish Super Cup match against Barcelona [6] . Despite the 4-year contract with Sevilla, Dabo played in the club for only 1 season, having spent 37 matches in various tournaments during this time.
