The question, apparently, came from Vienna . From March to April 69, he was consul-suffect along with Lucius Verginius Rufus . Emperor Oton appointed him to this post “according to old friendship, as he himself [that is, Vopisk], or to show respect for the inhabitants of Vienna, as many have said” [1] .
Vopisk's adopted son was the consul-sufferer of 77, Quintus Pompey Vopisk Guy Arrunzius Catellius Celer .
