Patara-Darbazi ( Georgian. პატარა დარბაზი , Azeri. Bala Darvaz ) is a village of the Bolnisi municipality , the region of Kvemo Kartli of the Republic of Georgia with a 100% Azerbaijani population . [5] Located in the south-eastern part of Georgia, in the historical region of Borchaly .

Content
History
In 1990 - 1991 , as a result of the change by the Georgian leadership of the historical toponyms of ethnic minority settlements in the region, the name of the village of Bala Darvaz (“ Azeri. Bala Darvaz ”) was changed to its current name - Patara-Darbazi. [6]
Geography
It borders with the villages of Talaveri , Samtsevrisi , Poladauri , Shua-Bolnisi , Bolnisi and Kvemo-Bolnisi of the Bolnisi Municipality , as well as Tseraqvi , Sioni , Opreti and Kudro of the Marneuli Municipality . [7]
Population
According to the State Statistics Committee of Georgia, according to the official census of 2002 , the population of the village of Patara-Darbazi is 40 people and 100% consists of Azerbaijanis . [eight]
Economics
The population is mainly engaged in sheep farming , cattle breeding and vegetable growing .
