Story
Lois sends Stewie to stay with her grandparents. On the road by car, Stewie notices that Carter fell asleep at the wheel. In less than a minute, the car crashes into a tree, Carter is sent to the hospital.
Things are even worse than it seemed at first: Joe comes to the hospital and tells Carter that he will cancel his driver’s license. Puterschmidt’s wife, Barbara, says that Carter is no longer young, and perhaps he should retire , but Carter is categorically against it, he does not want to admit his age and says that he will work until his death, but he soon agrees with Barbara and decides on retirement.
So, Carter spends more time with the family of Griffins , which soon very annoys the latter: Pyutershmidt forces everyone to do what he wants, annoys Peter at night with his ghost stories. Lois and Peter visit Carter and Barbara, inviting them to relax together at the Florida Club for Seniors. Arriving on an excursion (where the future Pyutershmidtov’s apartments, cinema, and much more were shown), Carter nevertheless refuses to check in, gets in his car and is naughty. Peter manages to persuade Peterschmidt to spend one day in a boarding house. After playing bingo together, Carter changes his mind. Family Guy go home, wishing good rest Carter and Barbara.
Six months pass. The house bell rings: Barbara urgently asks Lois to come to Florida. Arriving at the place, the Family Guy discover a strange picture: Carter is very lethargic, does not react to anything, sits on an armchair without mood and mumbles something under her breath. Lois concludes that this was due to the fact that Pyutershmidt was sent to retire. Then Peter decides to help, bringing Carter to his company and provoking him with "innovations" in the company. Carter comes to his senses, he says that he will never retire again, but will work at his place of work until the end of his days.
