Eva Spielrein Mansion is a residential building in Rostov-on-Don , located on Pushkinskaya Street (building 83). The mansion has the status of an object of cultural heritage of regional significance [1] .

History
The apartment building was built in 1897 [2] . The house was inhabited by spouses Spielrein with three daughters. The building belonged to the dentist Eva Markovna Spielrein (1863–1922), and there was also a dental office [3] . In this house her daughter, Sabina Nikolaevna Spielrein , who later became a well-known psychoanalyst, spent her childhood and youth years [4] .
According to the data of 1914, the Belgian consulate was located in the Spielrein apartment building, one of the apartments was rented by a Turkish consul. Other lodgers were jury attorneys, engineers, merchants [3] .
After the arrival of the Soviet government, the apartment house was nationalized [3] . Eva Spielrein with children emigrated abroad. Her husband was left a small room under the main staircase, where he lived until his death [2] .
During the Great Patriotic War , the tenement house was partially destroyed the roof. Immediately after the war, the house was restored and re-populated [3] .
In November 2015, the Sabina Spielrein Memorial Museum opened in the house. Presents personal items and photos [5] [6] .
Architecture
The three-story building has a U-shaped configuration in the plan. Located on the red line of Pushkin Street. In the inner wings of the building, facing the courtyard, there were originally residential premises that were rented. In the courtyard there were also a glacier, a cartwright and a stable [2] .
In the architecture and design of the facade of the building, the architect organically combined elements of the Renaissance, Baroque and Classicism [2] . The central part of the front facade is accentuated by framing with a two-story loggia decorated on the sides with pilasters . On the sides of the facade in the walls are the blades , decorated with oriental ornaments. First floor rustovan . In the center there are two arches (the main entrance and the entrance to the courtyard), decorated with castle stones with masks of lions. Cartridges on the entablature of the facade are placed, on the central of them the year of construction of the house is stamped - 1897. In addition, the design of the facade used profiled frames, archivals , decorative brackets [2] .
Plaques
In 2002, a memorial plaque with the text was installed on the facade of the building: “ The famous pupil of CG Jung and Z. Freud, the psychoanalyst Sabina Spielrein, for the years 1885–1942 lived in this house. " [7] . The plaque was made by Rostov sculptor B. N. Kondakov [4] .
