Biography
Born on December 17, 1921 in the village of Sosnovka now in the Krasnograd district of the Kharkov region of Ukraine. He worked as a tractor driver at the Berestovenkovskaya MTS.
In the Red Army since 1940. At the front in World War II since July 1941. In early November 1943, with a group of scouts, he participated in obtaining intelligence and military operations in the area of the village of Pushcha-Voditsa and Kiev.
On January 10, 1944, for the exemplary performance of command missions at the front of the struggle against Nazi invaders and the courage and heroism shown to this, Sergeant Senior Syabro Nikolai Andreyevich was awarded the title Hero of the Soviet Union with the Order of Lenin and the Gold Star medal.
He lived in the village of Berestovenka, Krasnogradsky district, Kharkov region. He worked as a blacksmith on a collective farm. He died on January 11, 1997 in the village of Berestovenka, where he was buried.
