Biography

Anatoly Nikulin was born on July 11, 1912 in the village of Krasnaya Polyana (now the Stavropol Territory ). After graduating from the Tashkent Agricultural College, he worked at a state farm , then at a machine and tractor station , and later became first deputy head of the Dzhambul regional department of the Kazakh SSR . Since 1947, Nikulin was the deputy head of the Akmola Regional Department of Agriculture, since 1952 - the first secretary of the Makinsky District Committee of the CPSU, since 1954 - the head of the department of the Akmola Regional Committee of the CPSU [1] .

In 1955, Nikulin was appointed first secretary of the Esilsky district committee of the Communist Party of the Akmola region of the Kazakh SSR. Participated in the development of virgin lands [1] .

By a decree of the Presidium of the Supreme Soviet of the USSR of January 11, 1957, “Anatoly Nikulin was awarded the high rank of Hero of Socialist Labor with the award of the Order of Lenin and the medal“ Hammer and Sickle ”for“ particularly outstanding successes achieved in the development of virgin and fallow lands and a high harvest ”. " [1] .

Since 1962, Nikulin was the first deputy chairman of the Tselinograd regional executive committee, since 1965 - the chairman of the Kokchetav regional executive committee, since 1973 - the deputy head of the Main Directorate for the Supply of Petroleum Products under the Council of Ministers of the Kazakh SSR, and since 1979 - the Deputy Chairman of the State Committee for the Supply of Petroleum Products of the Kazakh SSR. In 1981, retired. He lived in Alma-Ata . He died on March 16, 1983, was buried in Alma-Ata [1] .

He was awarded two orders of Lenin, orders of the October Revolution , the Red Banner of Labor , the Red Star , a number of medals [1] .
