Career

Pupil of the Novosibirsk school "Spartak". At 16, he moved to the Spartak Academy in Moscow, where he spent one year [2] . In the years he played for the farm club of the Moscow “Locomotive” , speaking in the second division, played 106 matches and scored 11 goals.

In January 2013, he joined the newcomer to the first division of Metallurg-Kuzbass and played 11 matches before the end of the season. In the summer of 2013, “Metallurg”, due to financial problems, withdrew from the tournament, and Zotov, as a free agent, transferred to the Belgorod “ Salute ”, also playing in the FNL . He played 7 matches for Salute. On August 30, 2013, following the former Salyut coach Sergei Tashuyev , Zotov moved to Donetsk Metallurg [3] and signed a contract for three years [4] . He played the first match in the Ukrainian Premier League on September 20, 2013 against Sevastopol (2-4), replacing him in the 72nd minute [5] .

February 6, 2016 became a player of the Kuban under the leadership of Tashuev. The contract was signed under the scheme one plus one [6] .

On February 4, 2017, Zotov’s transition to Wings of the Soviets was announced [7] .
