Biography
Born March 1, 1937 in the village of Novomyshastovskaya (now the Krasnoarmeysky district of the Krasnodar Territory ). After graduating from high school, he worked on the collective farm as a tractor driver, mechanic, and director of a poultry farm [1] .
In April 1972 he was appointed team leader of the integrated brigade No. 6 of the Rossiya collective farm (later transformed into the Agricultural Production Cooperative of the Rossiya collective farm breeding farm) and remained in this position until July 2008 . During his work, he proved himself to be a competent leader, applying best practices and his own knowledge, which allowed his team to be the best on the collective farm [1] .
By a decree of the President of the USSR of September 3, 1990, for “achieving high results in the production and sale of agricultural products to the state, a great personal contribution to the development of agriculture and demonstrated labor prowess,” Alexey Temchura was awarded the high title of Hero of Socialist Labor with the award of the Order of Lenin and the sickle medal and the Hammer ” [1] .
He was awarded three orders of Lenin, orders of the October Revolution and the Red Banner of Labor , and a number of medals [1] .
He died on December 13, 2013 in his native village [2] .
