Love and Anarchy ( Finnish Rakkautta ja anarkiaa ), Helsinki International Film Festival ( HIFF ) is an international film festival held in mid-September in Helsinki , the capital of Finland .

History
The International Film Festival of Contemporary Cinema was held in Helsinki in 1988 and gained wide popularity; during the festival, its events are visited by up to 60 thousand spectators [1] [2] . In its early years, the festival made a significant emphasis on Asian cinema, later the repertoire expanded to cover films from around the world [3] .
A number of world premieres took place within the framework of the festival: on September 28, 2012, the premiere of the film “Marshal of Finland” was held , dedicated to the personal life and love affairs of the Finnish commander Gustav Mannerheim [4] .
In 2013, the organizers of the cinema forum noted their interest in the new Russian cinema, presented at the festival with six ribbons [5] .
The 27th film festival was held from September 18 to September 28, 2014. The program of this year’s festival was distinguished by a large number of musical films [6] .
From September 14 to September 24, 2017, the 30th film festival is held; Among his most significant screenings are the Russian film “Tesnota” and the Italian-Ukrainian film “Easy” [3] .
