Paz, Senel

From a peasant family, the first in the family received an education. He graduated from the Faculty of Journalism at the University of Havana ( 1973 ). He worked in newspapers, in publishing houses, in the Ministry of Culture. He headed the Department of Screenwriting at the International Film School in San Antonio de los Banos ( 1998 - 2001 ), then became the dean of the school.

Best known as a screenwriter, and most of all, for the script of the film Strawberry and Chocolate, according to his own account, Wolf, forest and a new man .
