Policy
In the 2012 presidential election, residents of the canton cast 30.2% of the vote in the 1st round of Marin Le Pen against 23.4% of Nicolas Sarkozy and 21.6% of Francois Hollande , in the 2nd round, Sarkozy won, receiving 53.0% (2007 1st round: Sarkozy - 29.1%, Segolen Royal - 18.6%; 2nd round: Sarkozy - 59.2%). In the elections to the National Assembly in 2012 in the 6th constituency of the Oise department, they in the 1st round gave the most votes - 29.2% - to the National Front candidate Michel Guignot, and in the 2nd round - to the leftist candidate, the Communist Patrice Carvalho - 43.8% (three candidates participated in the 2nd round).
