Biography

A graduate of Vladimir football. As a professional football player, Sergey Boyko played in the championship of the USSR , then played for the teams of the first and second divisions of the championship of Russia. Finalist of the 1990 BSSR Super Cup. From 1997 to 1998, the midfielder was in Belarus, where he played in the Premier League for Torpedo (Minsk) and Slavia (Mozyr).

Graduated from Kaluga State Pedagogical University in 1999.

Having completed his career, Sergey Boyko re-qualified as a trainer. He graduated with honors from the TSA in 2006. At the same time, internships took place at the clubs Real Sociedad and Real Madrid . In 2009, he passed courses on licensing coaches under the auspices of UEFA. In 2010, he took courses to improve coaching at the RFU and TSA in Moscow. In 2011, he completed an internship at CSKA . In 2016, he completed an internship at the Terek Club (Grozny) .

Licensed by the UEFA PRO Trainer .

He began his career as the head coach of professional football teams in 2006 at the Naro-Fominsk football club Nara-Desna . He worked as the head coach of Torpedo-RG (Moscow, 2008), Khimik (Dzerzhinsk, 2009), Banner of Labor (Orekhovo-Zuevo, 2010), Zenit-Izhevsk (2011), Vologda (2013β€” 2014).

July 17, 2014 was appointed to the post of head coach of the Irtysh club (Omsk). In one season, he raised the club from seventh to second place in the Vostok zone. In the summer of 2016 left the Irtysh.

In January 2017, he was appointed head coach of the Murom club. At the end of the 2017/18 season, the PFL resigned [1] .
