Biography
Nikolai Krisanov was born in Perm in April 1893 .
He graduated from the Perm real school (1910) and the building department of the St. Petersburg Polytechnic Institute.
In 1914, Krisanov was drafted into the royal army. He graduated from the Pavlovsk military school . He participated in the battles of the First World War , was wounded. In April-October 1919 he served in the army of Admiral Kolchak , but in December of the same year he voluntarily went to serve in the Workers 'and Peasants' Red Army . He fought against the troops of Kolchak and Wrangel . After the end of the Civil War, he served in high positions in the engineering troops. From March 1942 - on the fronts of the Great Patriotic War [1] .
By October 1943, Major General Nikolai Krisanov commanded the engineering troops of the 38th Army of the Voronezh Front . Distinguished during the battle for the Dnieper . During the forcing of the Dnieper by the divisions of the 51st rifle corps near the village of Lyutezh, Vyshgorodsky district, Kiev region of the Ukrainian SSR, Krisanov personally supervised the construction of the 600-meter bridge, was contused, but remained at his post until the end of work [1] .
By decree of the Presidium of the Supreme Soviet of the USSR of October 29, 1943, Major General of Engineering Troops Nikolai Krisanov was awarded the high title of Hero of the Soviet Union with the Order of Lenin and the Gold Star Medal [1]. .
After the end of the war, Krisanov headed the tactics department of the engineering troops of the Frunze Military Academy . In August 1948, he was transferred to the reserve. He died on October 12 of the same year, was buried at the Novodevichy Cemetery of Moscow [1] .
He was awarded two Orders of Lenin, two Orders of the Red Banner , Orders of the Patriotic War of the 1st degree and the Red Star , along with a number of medals [1] .
The street in Perm is named after Krisanov [1] .
