Valeria Ivanovna Prokop (Alekseeva) (born June 6, 1941 , Tbilisi , Georgian SSR , USSR ) is a Soviet and Russian theater actress . People's Artist of the Russian Federation ( 2006 ) [1] [2] .

Biography

Valeria Prokop was born on June 6, 1941 in the city of Tbilisi, Georgian SSR .

She graduated from the acting department of a theater studio at the Russian State Youth Theater in her native Tbilisi. In 1961 she was invited to work in this theater.

After she worked at the Tula Regional Drama Theater named after M. Gorky .

From 1966 to the present, she is an actress of the Omsk State Academic Drama Theater [3] .

Personal life

  • The first husband is Nozheri Davidovich Chonishvili (October 18, 1926 - November 2, 1987), Soviet actor, People's Artist of the RSFSR (1974).
    • Son - Sergei Nozherievich Chonishvili (born August 3, 1965), Soviet and Russian film and theater actor, Honored Artist of the Russian Federation (1999).
  • The second husband is Valery Ivanovich Alekseev (born April 7, 1948), a Soviet theater actor, director, teacher, people's artist of the Russian Federation (1997).
