“Comin 'Back to Me” is a song by the American rock band Jefferson Airplane , written by Marty Balin and released on Surrealistic Pillow's second album. Balin said: “The song was written when I was stoned by the first-class marijuana that Paul Butterfield gave me” [1] . After composing “Comin 'Back to Me” in one sitting, Balin immediately went to the studio to record a composition with any musicians present there [1] .
