BeeSat-3 ( English: Berlin Experimental and Educational SAT ellite - Berlin experimental and training satellite) is a small satellite of the CubeSat 1U form factor, created at Berlin Technical University with the aim of practical training of students in the design, construction and operation of spacecraft . The list of tasks also includes checking the operation of the HiSPiCO S-band transmitter installed on board the satellite ( English Highly Integrated S-band transmitter for Pico and Nanosatellites ) and the C-328 camera [1] .

The launch took place on April 19, 2013 at 10:00 UTC (14:00 Moscow time ) with a Soyuz-2.1a launch vehicle from the Baikonur Cosmodrome [2] . BeeSat-3 was fixed on the surface of the Bion-M satellite No. 1 together with other small spacecraft AIST No. 2 , BeeSat-2 , Dove-2 , , SOMP and successfully separated on April 21.
