Laszlo Sabados was born in Sabadka in 1911 (today - Subotica in Serbia ). In 1931, he won the gold medal of the European Championship, and in 1932 at the Olympic Games in Los Angeles he won the bronze medal in the 4 × 200 m freestyle relay.
