History
For the first time it is mentioned in the Scribal Book of Vodskaya Pyatina in the year 1500, as the village of Lopets in the Yastrebinsky Nikolsky Pogost of the Koporsky District [2] .
On the map of Ingermanland A.I. Bergenheim , compiled from Swedish materials of 1676, is designated as the village of Loop bolschoi [3] .
On the Swedish “General Map of the Province of Ingermanland” of 1704, as Loop bolsoi [4] .
The village of Lopets is mentioned on the map of Ingermanlandia A. Rostovtsev in 1727 [5] .
The village of Lopetz is marked on the map of the St. Petersburg province of Ya. F. Shmit 1770 [6] .
Marked on the map of the St. Petersburg province of F. F. Schubert in 1834, as the village of Lopets , consisting of 49 peasant households and with it the manor of Landowner Golubtsov [7] .

According to the map from the “Historical Atlas of St. Petersburg Province” of 1863, there was a manor and tavern on the western outskirts of the village of Lopets [13] .
In 1869-1870, the peasants of the village temporarily obliged to buy out their land plots from A.R. von Zel and became owners of the land [14] .
LOPETS is a village, according to the census census of 1882: there are 45 families, 120 meters in them, 119; P., only 239 people. [eleven]
According to the statistics on the national economy of the Yamburg district in 1887, one of the estates in the village of Lopets with an area of 1,275 acres belonged to the academician of architecture Boguslav Boguslavovich Heidenreich, the estate was acquired in 1883 for 33,203 rubles, the master rented a blacksmith shop and mill. The second estate belonged to A. Smirnova, a peasant woman of the Luga district . The third estate at the village of Lopets with an area of 1 dessiate belonged to the Yamburg tradesman Yu. G. Reinworth, the estate was acquired in 1885 for 1,100 rubles [15] .

In the 19th and early 20th century, the village was administratively assigned to the Yastrebinsky volost of the 1st camp of the Yamburg district of St. Petersburg province.
According to the “Memorial Books of the St. Petersburg Province” for 1900 and 1905, the manor Lopets of 1245 acres was owned by peasants: Rodion Yevseyevich Evseev, Alexander Fedorovich Romanov and Vasily Dmitrievich Grishin [16] [17] .
In 1904, 27 Estonian migrants lived in farms near the village [18] .
In 1917, the village of Lopets was part of the Yablonitsky volost of the Yamburg district.
From 1917 to 1924, the village of Lopets was part of the Lopetsky Village Council of Moloskovitsky parish of Kingisepp County .
Since 1924, as a part of the Kryakkovsky Village Council.
Since August 1927, as part of the Moloskovitsky district .
Since 1928, in the composition of the Morozov village council.

From August 1, 1941 to December 31, 1943, the village was under occupation.
In 1952, the population of the village of Lopets was 210 people.

In 1958, the population of the village of Lopets was 41 people.

The village is located in the western part of the region to the west of the 41A-186 road ( Tolmachevo - Narva road).
The distance to the administrative center of the settlement is 8 km [26] .
The distance to the nearest railway station Moloskovitsy - 17 km [21] .
