Biography

Born on January 22, 1909 in the village of Pashkino (now the Northern District of the Orenburg Region ). After graduating from a rural school and a school of mechanization, he worked in Tashkent first as a turner, and then as a locksmith.

In 1942 he was called up for service in the Workers 'and Peasants' Red Army. From the same year - on the fronts of World War II. He was wounded three times in battles. By September 1943, Red Army Ivan Krasheninnikov was a shooter of the 1st Infantry Battalion of the 667th Infantry Regiment of the 218th Infantry Division of the 47th Army of the Voronezh Front. He distinguished himself during the battle of the Dnieper [1] .

September 24, 1943 crossed the Dnieper in the region of the city of Kanev, Cherkasy region of the Ukrainian SSR and provided uninterrupted communication between units and the regiment command. September 25, he was sent from the regiment headquarters to the company with a combat order. On the way, he was captured by three German soldiers, but managed to hide the order in his mouth. Having snatched a machine gun from one of the soldiers, he killed all three and successfully delivered the order to the company [1] .

By a decree of the Presidium of the Supreme Soviet of the USSR of June 3, 1944, for the "exemplary performance of command missions on the front of the fight against the German invaders and the courage and heroism shown", Red Army soldier Ivan Krasheninnikov was awarded the high title of Hero of the Soviet Union with the award of the Order of Lenin and the Golden Star medal " Under the number 1970 [1] .

After the war was demobilized. He lived in the village of Platovka in the Novosergievsky district of the Orenburg region, worked as a conveyor of a grain reception center.

He died on March 8, 1976 [1] .

He was also awarded the Order of the Red Star and a number of medals [1] .

In honor of Krasheninnikov the lane in Platovka is named [1] .
