History
Altai Territory State Unitary Enterprise (AKGUP) Altai Airlines was established in 1997 on the basis of the Barnaul State Air Enterprise in order to provide aviation services for the economy of the region.
Tyagunov Alexander Yakovlevich was appointed as the director of the enterprise. Altai Regional State Unitary Enterprise (AKGUP) Altai Airlines began its production activities on June 1, 1998.
The main activities of the enterprise are:
- Commercial air transportation of passengers, baggage and cargo;
- Tourist and sightseeing flights;
- Rescue operations for the Ministry of Emergencies, Civil Defense and other departments;
- Flying on urgent sanitary tasks to provide emergency medical care to the population;
- Forestry work;
- Aerial photography;
